Sokilnyky village, Lviv region, Ukraine
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Project of a public building with office, retail and warehouse premises in the village of Sokilnyky, Lviv region. The building has 4 floors and combines retail, administrative and auxiliary functions. The project includes an operated roof with a recreation area for employees, a detached one-story boiler room.
The architectural solution is based on a combination of a new geometry of volumes, large areas of glazing and expressive facade plasticity. The facades are made using composite panels, fiber cement boards, decorative silicone-silicate plaster and metal slats. DESCRIPTION OF THE OBJECT
Project of a public building with office, retail and warehouse premises. The building has 4 floors and combines retail, administrative, warehouse and auxiliary premises.
The functional structure ensures the interaction of different zones within a single architectural complex. The project also includes an operational roof with a relaxation area for employees, which creates additional space for staying.
The architectural solution is based on a combination of clear geometry of volumes, large glazing areas and expressive facade plasticity. Transparent facade elements provide natural lighting of internal spaces and form a visual connection with the surrounding area. The facades combine hinged systems of composite panels and fiber cement boards, decorative silicone-silicate plaster and metal slats. Vertical orange slats create a rhythmic accent, add depth to the facades and emphasize individual volumes of the building.
The structural solution of the building is formed taking into account its multifunctional purpose and number of floors. The planning structure provides for the rational placement of the main functional areas and provides convenient vertical and horizontal connections between the premises. The structural scheme is consistent with the architectural composition of the building and allows for the organization of large open areas of retail and warehouse premises without excessive fragmentation of the internal space. Facade systems are integrated with the structural structure of the building, providing the possibility of forming a variety of facades, large areas of glazing and hinged cladding. The operated roof is designed as an additional functional space with the possibility of organizing a recreation area for employees. The project provides for the organization of an entrance-exit to the Western Bypass of Lviv, as well as a separate one-story boiler room. The combination of different materials, textures, colors and glazing areas forms a modern and recognizable architectural image of the building, focused on the functionality and comfort of employees and visitors.
