Preliminary design of a passenger elevator

A preliminary design for the major renovation of a part of a shopping center at 46 Chervonoi Kalyna St. in Lviv with the installation of a passenger elevator in the volume of the staircase. The project involves organizing an elevator node on three levels while preserving the existing structure of the staircase and ensuring accessibility for people with limited mobility. The elevator is integrated into the staircase, which allows for the use of space.
The architectural solution combines a metal frame and glass railings of the elevator with a neutral finish of the staircase hall. Dark metal elements contrast with light surfaces, and glazing and lighting form a modern image of a single interior.
