ABOUT THE PROJECT

A working project for the new construction of the “Food Products” trade pavilion in Lviv. The building has two floors and includes trade premises, cold storage rooms, administrative, service and technical premises, a stair-elevator hall and a covered ramp. An operated roof is provided.
The architectural solution is formed by large areas of translucent structures, shop windows and a system of translucent polycarbonate panels by Rodeca GmbH. The facades are made in a modern, restrained style with a combination of dark metal panels, light surfaces and green accents. The composition of the facades is built on a combination of volumes of different heights, vertical accents, trade entrances and rhythmically located loading gates. VISUALIZATIONS

DESCRIPTION OF THE OBJECT

The project involves the creation of a modern trade and logistics complex consisting of two functionally connected buildings on the territory of the Shuvar market in Lviv. The architectural concept takes into account the functional purpose of the facility, the features of the existing development and the need for convenient organization of trade and logistics processes. The two buildings form a single compositional and functional system.

The architectural image of the complex is based on clear geometry, a distinct rhythm of facades and a combination of glazed and blank surfaces. Glazing opens the retail spaces to the outside environment and provides natural lighting, and the restrained facade solution forms a modern and recognizable character of the complex.

The functional structure includes commercial, administrative, warehouse, service and technical premises. The first building is focused on food trade, the second complements the overall structure of the complex and ensures the processes associated with its functioning. The internal organization provides for a logical separation of public and service areas while maintaining the necessary functional connections.

The structural system of the buildings is based on a monolithic reinforced concrete frame. The external walls are made as non-load-bearing enclosing structures of foam blocks with insulation of mineral wool slabs. The roof is provided with a rolled, unexploited roof. This solution combines structural reliability with a flexible organization of the internal space.
